Questions we often hear

After completing interviews, you can expect your finished book within three weeks. We'll keep you in the loop at every stage: first draft, revisions, and final print, so there are no surprises along the way.

We conduct relaxed, guided conversations over phone or video call, typically 60 minutes each. There's nothing to prepare. We come with thoughtful questions that allow the stories to unfold naturally. Every session is recorded so no detail gets lost.

Absolutely. Many of our books are gifts. We coordinate everything with the giver and keep the project private until the book is ready to present. Just let us know at the start and we'll handle it discreetly.

No. Behind each book is our small team of humans. We are experienced at the personal narrative form and the art of preserving the voice, texture, and personality that make your story yours.

Greatest Hits includes one full revision and Legacy Story includes three. For The Heirloom, revisions are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the scope of the project and what the writer and client decide together.

Yes. Additional hardcover copies are $25 each. For The Heirloom, additional copy pricing is handled on a bespoke basis. Many families order extras to share with siblings, grandchildren, or to keep one safely tucked away.

Not a problem at all. A regular phone call works perfectly. We've worked with people in their 80s and 90s and always make the process as fun, comfortable and low-pressure as possible. If they can tell a story, we can write a book.
